Port de plaisance de Beaucaire

Museum Overview

The river port of Beaucaire marks the beginning of the Rhône-Sète Canal, which for 200 years served as a vital conduit for communications, transportation, and economic development. Beaucaire, a town of art and history, is at the gateway to the Camargue.

Ideally located between Nîmes, Arles, and Avignon, the port of Beaucaire marks the starting point of the Rhône-Sète Canal. A freshwater port, it's just a half-day's sailing trip from the Mediterranean Sea.

The marina has 230 moorings at the quayside, on catway or on pontoon, it can accommodate boats from 5 m to 38,50 meters depending on the space available and offers the following services: Water and electricity at each location, toilets, wifi at the harbor master's office, shipyard on the port.
