Description
Starting from the abbey's parking lot, this gravel route, with an elevation gain of approximately 200 meters, takes you through the tunnel of the old Martinet railway line, a vestige of an industrial past, and leads you through picturesque vineyards. From the summit of the Aiguille massif, you'll be treated to an exceptional panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes and a surprising sight: the troglodytic abbey, unique in Europe. A remarkable place where history and nature meet in perfect harmony.

Along the route, directional posts guide you. The place name and/or the direction to follow are indicated in bold italics and in quotation marks. Follow the description below:
Start from the Abbey car park. Take the direction "Saint Roman", cross the road towards "Impasse Régagnon", follow the singletrack to the greenway and the "Route de Comps" signpost.
1. Continue for approximately 4 km. At the "Partides" signpost, turn left towards "Mas de Juge". Turn left towards "La Treille" then "Les Arcades".
2. Turn right, go up the single track or the DFCI towards "La Triple Levée". Turn left on the single track towards "La Levée" passing through "Le Morillon".
3. Stay on the path to the left towards "Le Bois de l'Abbaye", then return to the parking lot.

Stay on marked paths, respect nature, developments and cultivated plots, do not transport or light fires.
