Description
Starting from Beaucaire, you cycle on a new greenway linking the marinas of Beaucaire and Bellegarde.
The route perfectly follows the towpath of the Rhône to Sète canal, an easy and pleasant route where cyclists cross paths with boats and greet each other.
Audio guide for the route is available via the Latitude Gard smartphone app, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play.
Along the route, directional posts guide you. The place name and/or the direction to follow are indicated in bold italics and in quotation marks. Follow the description below:
D- Parking “Quai de la Paix”.
Follow the greenway for approximately 1.5km, cross the "Charenconne bridge" then immediately turn left towards "Nourriguier lock", then the "Bellegarde" port. The return journey follows the same route.
For your comfort and safety, equip yourself with the appropriate equipment. Before setting off on the circuit, check if it is suitable for your level and check the weather. Stay on marked paths, respect nature, facilities and cultivated plots, do not transport or light fires. In summer, remember to hydrate yourself. Enjoy your walk.
