From plant to perfume
Each plant is selected for its fragrance, benefits, and yield. Gaël cultivates them organically. On site, he and his team distill them to extract a pure and natural essential oil. Ideal for cosmetics, aromatherapy, or home fragrance. Artisanal distillation using steam distillation preserves all the plant's olfactory qualities and benefits.
When I delved into essential oils, I had a brainwave! I wanted to produce these plants. It was a visceral need for me to be in contact with nature. I am absolutely convinced by the benefits of essential oils on the body and mind, and I wanted to share this with as many people as possible.

The time of a visit, immerse yourself in ancestral know-how and let yourself be guided through a unique sensory journey. The discovery begins with a stroll in the open field among lavender, immortelles and other perfume plants. Your guide will reveal the secrets of growing aromatic plants, from planting to harvesting. And you can even discover the agricultural machinery that facilitates the producer's work. Then, head to the distillery where you will attend the demonstration of the essential oil extraction process. The scents are intoxicating and you may already feel all the benefits of the plants.

A Mas in Provence is a place of welcome and sharing. All year round, the Un Mas en Provence team organizes immersive activities and workshops to create natural cosmetics, a personalized mist or perfume, make a dried lavender pouch or a lavender spindle, symbol of Provence... or simply participate in the picking and distillation!

Gaël is a farmer, and he doesn't deny his roots. “I'm a farmer, and proud of it; it's the best job in the world!”
