The best photo spot

The fortress is full of viewpoints allowing you to observe the Rhône, opposite Tarascon and its castle and the tiled roofs of Beaucaire, typical of the architecture of the South of France.
In the gardens shaded by Aleppo pines, benches and low walls invite contemplation. This is our favorite photo spot, where we discover an expanse of red roofs, the alleys of Beaucaire, and stand out against this panorama: the chinoiserie of the Hôtel de Clausonnette, a true architectural coquettishness, and the imposing Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame des Pommiers.

Taking time

The Port of Beaucaire

Ce pretty marina is the starting point of the Canal du Rhône to SèteThis canal, built in the 18th century and completed in the 19th, connects Sète to Beaucaire and also the Canal du Midi. It offers a breath of fresh air, where people come to stroll, enjoy the sun and listen to the lapping of the water... It gives Beaucaire a seaside feel. The restaurant terraces face the charming port. They are an invitation to stop and taste Provençal cuisine and the wines of Costières de Nîmes.
