Au Miel Occitan

Museum Overview

Beekeeper and honey producer in Beaucaire, Miel Occitan offers around fifteen varieties of honey from local production, as well as by-products such as vinegar, dried pollen, swarms, royal jelly and mead.

  • Beekeeping products

A couple of transhumant beekeepers, Gwenn and Céline Lasbleiz produce more than fifteen different honeys, all extracted and bottled cold (lavender, garrigue, thyme, chestnut, flowers, Terre d'Argence, Long du Rhône, garrigue, Camargue, rosemary, summer, acacia, fir, hawthorn, organic French honey and spirulina, organic French honey and hazelnut, etc.).
Concerned about preserving the quality of their products, they do not heat the honey during any of the manufacturing stages: from extraction to potting.
They attach particular importance to the selection of locations where to place their hives and select healthy and natural places for their bees, such as certain organic wine estates in Terre d'Argence.
They also produce royal jelly, honey vinegar, pollen dehydrated at low temperature or frozen immediately after harvest.
