Château Mourgues du Grès is nestled between vineyards, orchards and scrubland in the foothills of the "Costières de Nîmes" (Nîmes Coast). The motto of its sundial "Sine Sole Nihil" (Nothing Without Sun) celebrates the Mediterranean climate with beautiful ripeness for naturally delicious wines.

Our winemaking practices are guided by listening to nature and fostering biodiversity, based on the principles of biodynamics. The vines draw their strength from this pebble-rich terroir (Sandstone in Provençal), which contributes to the balance and minerality of our wines. The magic of the blends, through the great diversity of grape varieties, enhances their personality. This alchemy is the richness of our wines.

Winegrower's picnic:
With Provençal flair, this picnic, including tapenade, Nîmes brandade, vegetables, olive terrine, goat cheese, olive oil, and local fruit, is served under the arbour in the courtyard or among the vines. It's preceded by a tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a wine tasting. A paid service is available upon reservation.

Apéri'Vigne:
Share our passion during a moment of escape: let yourself be guided to the heart of the terroir (in the vineyards depending on the weather) where the tasting will take on its full meaning. Visit the cellar and the winery. Tasting of 5 wines accompanied by Provençal specialties: tapenade toast, brandade de Nîmes… Paid service upon reservation.

Introduction to tasting:
We'll teach you the steps involved in wine tasting and winemaking, focusing on themes and adapting to your audience. This service requires a reservation.
