Museum Overview

Since 1925, from great-uncle to nephew, from father to son, from father to daughter, from mother to son, always the same love for the Domaine de Tavernel, the same happiness of living there and the same hope of seeing it perpetuated.

Since 1925, this family business has been proud to present its organic IGP Gard and Bouches-du-Rhône wines.
In 2019, the arrival of Thomas COMPAGNE marked the fifth generation to take the reins of Domaine de Tavernel.
Preceded by his mother, Denise COMPAGNE, who was a nurse and with whom he currently collaborates, Thomas thus perpetuates the legacy initiated by his ancestors Auguste PAUL, known as "Paul the rich", Marcel AMPHOUX, an enlightened self-taught man, and then his grandfather AMPHOUX, a country doctor.

These five generations of winemakers from such varied backgrounds and viscerally attached to the vine and wine have contributed to shaping the TAVERNEL of today that we have the pleasure of leading and sharing with you!
