Domaine Les Abeilles

For the Fabre-Galopini family, a love of orchards isn't a matter of family history, but of passion. A passion shared by Céline and her husband, who jointly decided to start a farm combining the iconic crops of this Gard region, the Terre d'Argence: cherry trees, apricot trees, and table grapes.
Fruit harvest from March to September, with strawberries, cherries, apricots, plums, table grapes, and clementines in that order. Picholine olive oil, honey, and organic eggs are produced year-round.
In this sun-drenched region, the cherry is early.
They therefore favored varieties arriving early in the calendar, such as Burlat or Primulat, which they harvest in barely a month (from the beginning of May to the beginning of June).
In the orchards, Céline's pleasure lies in cultivating the land, irrigating, and pruning. This patient and meticulous work is fulfilled when, once harvested, she markets her produce with the help of a producers' organization in nearby Vaucluse: Côteaux du Ventoux.
But Céline's other passion is beekeeping, which she has practiced for ten years, tending to about twenty hives on the property. This passion blends wonderfully with her love of cherry trees, as the bees actively contribute to the pollination of the orchards.
