La Belle Pierre

Museum Overview

La Belle Pierre is the name chosen by the Beaucaire winegrowers for their wines. In medieval times, Beaucaire was called "Belcaïre," which means "Beautiful Stone."

The winery's first cellar was built in 1914.

Today, the La Belle Pierre wine cellar lists 85 winegrowers working on 750 hectares. These winegrowers are spread across the communes of Beaucaire and Tarascon, located in the triangle formed by Avignon, Nîmes, and Arles. On the other side of the Rhône, we also have winegrowers, extending as far as Saint-Étienne-du-Grès and Fontvieille.

The winery benefits from a dual influence: that of Occitanie and Provence. It produces both organic and conventional wines across seven appellations. The wines are available for sale in bottles and bag-in-box.
