La Zébuline is a small spirulina farm located in Jonquières-Saint-Vincent. Catherine welcomes you there to passionately present her commitment to environmentally friendly production (no heating or artificial lighting systems are used in the ponds).

Catherine Petitpierre, spirulina profession

At Catherine's, this microorganism grows in greenhouses in above-ground ponds during the warmer months of the year (April to October). This cyanobacteria requires a lot of attention and presence.

The tour will allow you to understand all the stages of production to harvest, from sowing to sale, and is carried out on site by Catherine, a passionate woman who loves to share and explain her profession.

Firmly committed to an ecological approach, everything is carefully thought out and designed to preserve a high-quality environment. The farm uses only the sun's natural resource to heat and light its pools, and since 2023, the installation of photovoltaic panels has ensured its complete energy autonomy.

During your visit, you will be able to discover the basins and how they work, and Catherine will explain the complete process of a harvest.

You will also be able to taste spirulina and learn how to incorporate it into your daily diet.

Group reception, guided tours and product tasting by appointment.
