Mas d'Espiard

Nestled in the Garrigues between Tarascon and Vallabrègues, the Mas d'Espiard is an invitation to calm and return to nature.
Géraldine Arnaud, farmer and manager, looks after the building which offers guest rooms, organic fruits and vegetables and now a relaxation area designed for spending quality time with family or friends!

The history of the place:
Géraldine inherited this farm, which has seen four generations of owners. As she took over the farm, she wondered what the future of this farmhouse in the heart of the countryside would be.
She envisioned an open, somewhat unusual space, a place for sharing. Mas d'Espiard is evolving toward a more human and educational dimension. It's becoming a gîte, but not only that.

Here, people come to pick their own fruit in the orchards and gather their own vegetables in the organic vegetable garden. They can go for walks among the sheep, horses, and Camargue bulls. They learn respect for the environment, respect for others, and, along the way, respect for themselves.

Géraldine produces apricots, cherries, apples, spinach, olives, figs, grapes, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, salads, melons, aromatic herbs, leeks, cabbages...

The vegetable garden is cultivated using organic farming methods, the other crops are in organic conversion or using sustainable methods.
You will also find a range of canned products: ratatouille, zucchini soup, spinach soup, sun-dried vegetable soup, cherry jams, apricot jams, apple juice, cherry juice, zucchini-based preparations, spices and raisins.

Jacuzzi, massage, relaxation… in the heart of nature!
The new feature of the place is a relaxation area set up by Géraldine on the banks of the Laune, this small watercourse which winds around Vallabrègues.

"We've put in deck chairs, a ping-pong table, a pétanque court... everything you need to spend a relaxing half-day with friends or family for a special occasion, for example!"

Géraldine has also installed a jacuzzi and offers massage sessions upon request. You can also come and enjoy brunch with the farmhouse's delicious local produce.
