A Camargue bullfight lasts about two hours. During these two hours, six bulls selected by the herds perform 15-minute runs each.

In the Camargue bullfighting culture, the bulls are pampered, and the best bull, the one who has had the best season, receives the holy grail: the " Bioù d'Or"

    • The cockade : small piece of red cloth which is an attribute and which is always placed in the middle of the bull's frontal (forehead). It is the attribute to remove first of the 5 attributes present on the bull's head.

    • The acorns : these are small white pompoms that are slipped onto the base of the horns. They are made from a strand of white wool and attached to a 5mm thick elastic band, which must be black. 2 horns, 2 tassels: together they form attributes 2 and 3 of the 5 present on the animal's head.

    • The strings : They are made from 12 strands and are identical for all manadiers (bull breeders) in order to have perfect fairness. They constitute attributes 4 and 5 of the 5 attributes. Depending on the race category (league, future, ace, taùs or young bulls), the turns of strings will vary from 5 to 25.
